About Kingfisher Pensions
Historically, Kingfisher Pensions has included three different pension schemes, all of which are described below. Depending on when you first started to work within the group will depend which scheme you may belong to. If you aren’t yet a member and would like to join, you should look at the Money Purchase Section for more information.
The Kingfisher Pension Scheme – Money Purchase Section
The Money Purchase Section, or KPS-MP for short, is open to employees of all Kingfisher UK operating companies. Managers may join immediately, and other employees may join once they have been employed for one year.

The Kingfisher Pension Scheme – Final Salary Section
The Final Salary Section, or KPS-FS for short, has been closed to new members since 1 April 2004, although existing members can continue to build up their pension benefits.

The Kingfisher Retirement Trust
You may have been a member of the Kingfisher Retirement Trust (or KRT) if you were employed by an operating company within Kingfisher Group between April 1988 and March 2004.
The Trust is now in the process of being legally wound up and all remaining benefits have been transferred out of KRT into BlackRock. All members who kept the Trustee advised of their address were advised of the wind up by letter in December 2006.
